Why do people travel?

Traveling gives us our greatest stories, our fondest memories and the countless recurring lessons we can choose to pay for others. It teaches us about ourselves and each other, expands our horizons and, like a reset button, forces us to focus on what really matters.

According me here is 10 reason to do travel

1. Travel to leave our world a better place

I have had the privilege of working with and traveling with & BEYOND for over 13 years now and which greatly inspires our company values and unwavering commitment to caring for the earth, wildlife and people. Traveling with & BEYOND gave me a rare opportunity to participate in many truly memorable and sensible activities, such as: seeing a dangerous rhinoceros transported safely; to monitor the arrest of an elephant, cow for research and monitoring; to assist in transporting an endangered nest set up by a large and endangered sea turtle; spending the night in the Maasai manyatta (home) area; many more. & BEYOND A true journey, and the & BEYOND experience not only allows travelers to participate, engage and learn, but also allows them to travel purposefully and help leave our world in a better place.

2. Travel to meet different culture

Traveling exposes us to different cultures and ancient cultures and through this true encounter, we learn to accept and celebrate both our similarities and our differences. Traveling teaches us about humanity and gives us appreciation, understanding and respect for different perspectives and lifestyles.

3. Travel to learn

Not all classrooms have four walls and walking is the best way to focus on geography, history, culture, gastronomy, languages, biology ... you say. Traveling improves the mind and teaches us more than any other textbook or travel book. Only curious travelers learn about different landscapes, languages, and ways of life; discover interesting facts while observing wildlife in their natural habitat; immerse yourself in the history of the region and taste the local flavor; but they also learn about them (and each other) along the way.

4. Travel to escape reality

We all need to fall off the radar and run from the truth every once in a while. Traveling allows us to enjoy complete anonymity in new and untested places. It gives us complete freedom to live in the moment and allows us to be with anyone, to go anywhere and to do anything. The best part of my six-month trip around the world, long ago, was the freedom to get up and choose a place anywhere on the map and find a way to get there. Navigation enables us to automate and search for new information.

5. Travel to relax

Our lives are hungry and technologically driven and, let's face it, we rarely take the time necessary to really remove the pressure and turn it off. Traveling allows us to escape the daily demands of life, dramas and the last days and enables us to clear our minds. It encourages us to charge our batteries and disconnect them properly (on our phones, Wi-Fi, emails, laptops, social media, etc.) so that we can reconnect (with us, alone and in the natural environment).

6. Travel to go check

Traveling takes us out of our comfort zone and encourages us to see, taste and try new things. It constantly challenges us, not only to adapt and explore the new environment, but also to interact with a variety of people, to embrace adventures as they come and to share new and meaningful things with friends and loved ones. Whether you are looking for adrenaline and relentless work, or any bedtime you may have and a complete rest, walking gives us the opportunity to explore with an open heart and an open mind.

7. Travel for humbleness

Without a doubt, walking is a course of humility. As we cross borders, and seas, we come to a real view. We learn to recognize and appreciate all the things we take for granted in our lives, and we gain appreciation and respect for the way others live. Walking teaches us tolerance, flexibility and an open mind, and above all makes us humble.

8. Travel to take food

One thing you will not find in the food packaging list. Leave it at home! Just make sure you bring healthy food and a willingness to taste fresh flavors and a sample of all local delicacies. Remember, mimosas are perfectly acceptable in the morning and dessert is always a good idea. Have fun, go back in seconds and exercise when you get home.

9. Travel to be changed

Do not go just for the sake of walking. Go for a trip and feel alive. Participate in real-life experiences that will not only change the way you view the world, but also promote self-awareness, environmental awareness and global action to help protect and preserve our planet.

10. Travel to be alive out your dream bucket list

Each bucket list for a traveler is different. Whether you wish to watch the sun set over the Taj Majal, a snowflake on the side of a volcano, witness the African Big Five and the Great Migration, or find your Zen in a yoga retreat in the Himalayas, if you can dream of it, you can dream. what I can do. Traveling is the best medicine and the longest time may continue to take our breath away and make us all storytellers (and dedicated keepers of our precious planet).
